Vienna

Vienna does not only mean sightseeing and visiting museum. Vienna is also, and perhaps above all, music. It was the city of many famous composers and musicians, and still is. Probably nowhere else can you enjoy classical music in such a great atmosphere as you can in Vienna (Vienna Volksoper, Vienna State Opera).
At the end of the eighteenth century, the most famous composers of all time- Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven formed the First Viennese School.
In Vienna you will find different architectural styles, from the Romanesque St. Ruprecht`s Church, the Gothic St. Stephan`s Cathedral, the Baroque St. Charles´s Church to the classic Parliament and buildings of modern architecture.
Vienna became an inspiration for other cities in the Austro- Hungarian Empire, such as Budapest, Cracow and Lviv.
Vienna nowadays still is an important centre of European culture.
